[Call Closed] Data Analysis Training on Migration and Climate Change in South-East and Central Asia
26-27 November 2025

 Mahidol Migration Center (MMC) at Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University, in collaboration with International Organization for Migration (IOM), Thailand and IOM Regional Data Hub, invites applications for a specialized data analysis training on “Migration in the Context of Climate Change in South-East and Central Asia: Data Analysis and Approaches to Impact Assessment.” 

The training will take place on 26–27 November 2025, both in-person and online at Salaya Campus, IPSR Mahidol University. This program is designed for young researchers, policymakers, and PhD students to strengthen their analytical and research skills in studying the intersections between climate change, migration, and demographic transitions. The training will cover key areas such as environmental and migration data analysis, natural disaster databases, field mapping, economic and statistical modeling, and labor migration as an adaptive response to climate change.

10–12 participants will be selected to join the training in person. Meals will be provided during the sessions, and the training is free of charge. Stipend for accommodation & travel will be fully funded for participants outside Salaya. Certificates of completion will be awarded. Applications are open until November 10, 2025, 12:00 PM (Bangkok time).
